Some of you will remember that my wife, Teri, and I have been building a website to help people – anyone -- to help others to deal with the emotional impacts of the COVID virus.
Some of you provided feedback to the first version of that website. Thank you! Numerous others shared feedback as well. A dominant theme in that feedback was that the site was overwhelming in content. (That is a common theme in feedback to my writings over the years J So Teri and I completely revamped the site, based on that feedback and also on more research about peer helping.
Preliminary feedback to the updated site, from reviewers asked to review it from the mindset of a complete novice to peer helping, is that it still has too much content. That was hard feedback to hear. But after sitting with that feedback for a while, we think it was a gift. (I continue to be reminded of very insular I can get in my world.)
