Job description This member of the Forensic Community Service Team has responsibility to carry-out mentoring or coaching with consumers and family members involved in treatment having mental health and/or co-occurring disorders and are involved in the criminal justice system referred to the Forensic Community Service Team.
Qualifications Experience as a recovering person (minimum 1 year) or as a family member of someone in recovery from SUD/COD. Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and the principles of Recovery. Skills in Recovery Coaching will be developed in curriculum based training and on-the-job experience. Knowledge and skill development in Trauma Informed Care will also be part of training.
