Sugestion: Advanced Ruby / Rails Coding

Hi everybody,
what I would suggest, is that you could provide us with some help to
dive deeper into bigger projects, like a the basic concepts of rails,
explaining some of the used metaprogramming, as mentioned, specialy
for rails.
Providing us with some basic techniques which helps us semi-advanced
coders to make a bigger step into the community, where we can
contribute as well.
I think, many programmers would love to contribute, but there is a big
lack of knowledge from a routined beginner to a more advanced ruby
hacker.
Myself I often have like a hurdle, which keeps me away from testing /
submitting patches, even looking into the code.
May be a screencast for more advanced programmers will enlarge the
contributing community rapidly?
