2/22/17 Meeting Follow Up

Hello All,

Thank you all for your thoughtful contribution at last week's CAC meeting. At that meeting, members reviewed a draft proposal of the 2017-18 PEEF Proposal. Members discussed and approved recommendations and feedback to be shared with the Board and Superintendent prior to 1st Reading.  A final version of the 2017-18 Superintendent's PEEF Proposal will be forwarded to the PEEF CAC and Board of Education prior to 1st Reading on March 7. Currently, Jenny and Frances (Co-Chairs) are working with staff to complete the recommendation memo.

Key Dates

• By March 7: PEEF CAC Recommendations memo finalized by Co-Chairs/staff and released to Board and Superintendent (PEEF CAC will be copied)
• March 7 - 1st Reading, Superintendent's 2017-18 PEEF Proposal referred to discussion on March 14 (members need not attend)
  
• By March 14 - Staff response memo to PEEF CAC Recommendations released to Board and CAC
  
•  March 14 - Staff presentation, CAC Recommendations Presentation and Board discussion at Augmented Board Meeting (please attend)
  
• Before March 21 - Possible Revisions to Plan (Potential revenue increase - Controller's Office Update)
  
• March 21 - Final discussion and approval of 2017-18 PEEF Plan & PEEF CAC recognition (please attend)

Hi Kathy + team,

Thanks for this update and for our meeting last week. I wanted to share I'll be out of the country on both 3/14 and 3/21 (I'll be co-leading a USF student immersion to Colombia during that time). Please let me know how I may contribute while away, and please excuse that I'll miss these meetings. Thanks to everyone for your work throughout this process.
