Come check out how San Francisco high school students are getting ready for the real world! The Office of College & Career Readiness and the Career Technical Education (CTE) team invite you the the 5th annual CTE Showcase on January 25th, 2017.
As part of over 40 different College & Career Pathways, students in San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) explore and experience careers through hands-on, project-based learning. Our students are showing their unique preparation for life after high school. Students are inventing new logos that express meaning and tiny houses that confront housing debates. They are creating videos and graphics that address issues through social media campaigns. They are learning and participating in processes involving farm-to-table to catered dinners to business plans. Students are also being trained in emergency response techniques that are preparing them for specific medical support careers. We invite you to come celebrate, connect with and learn from our incredible students while also finding exciting ways to get involved!
