Your input is needed on the superintendent search - 12/08/16 2:10 pm - 2:40 pm @ 555 Franklin

As you know, the Board of Education is conducting a confidential search for our next SFUSD superintendent. The Board selected Leadership Associates Executive Search Advisors to conduct the recruitment and comprehensive search process.

Leadership Associates is scheduling a series of meetings to solicit input that will be used to develop the recruitment criteria. Your input about the desired personal and professional qualities of the new superintendent is critical.

Our consultants plan to meet with you or your group on Thursday, December 8th from 2:10pm-2:40pm at 555 Franklin St., 3rd Floor.

If you are unable to meet at this time, you may attend an open forum. See dates below - no appointment necessary.

The consultants will be asking two primary questions:

1) What are the desirable qualities, characteristics, background and experiences (professional and personal) for the next SFUSD superintendent?

2) What do you see as SFUSD’s strengths and what do you believe are the major challenges facing the district in the years ahead?

In addition, there is a link to an online survey on the District website www.sfusd.edu.

Leadership Associates will compile a report of comments received during the community input sessions. They will share these comments with the Board and with the new superintendent. The comments will also be used to guide the development of the recruitment brochure, the recruitment process and the reference checking.
