Supervisor Cohen is extending the application due date for the Soda Tax Advisory Committee until July 28. Please submit your applications and department appointments to Derek Evans at derek...@sfgov.org by then. As the Board of Supervisors is on summer recess for the month of August, applicants will be appear before the Rules Committee on Wednesday, September 6.

The application for the Sugary Drinks Distributor Tax Advisory Committee is live. Descriptions of the vacant seats and instructions for applying can be found here: http://sfbos.org/sugary-drinks-distributor-tax-advisory-committee. According to the legislation, the soda tax advisory committee must be seated by September 2017. The Board of Supervisors is on recess for the month of August.
