What medical therapy is most appropriate for a patient with hematemesis who is otherwise hemodynamically stable, who has a clean-base stomach ulcer with no active bleeding, who has been treated with an initial bolus and an 8-hour continuous infusion of intravenous omeprazole, and whose follow-up hematocrit has been stable?
Button On Continue the intravenous omeprazole for 72 hours and then initiate oral omeprazole
Button On Continue the omeprazole infusion and recommend repeat endoscopy in 24 hours
Button On Discontinue the omeprazole infusion now and initiate oral omeprazole therapy
