Thanks Christian for bringing it all together so well, thanks also to Till and Simos for moderating.

I have indeed set up a group space at:
http://patternlanguagenetwork.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Groups.EuroPLoPPedPat/
or you can use http://icanhaz.com/pedpat

Also, I've set up an email list (by which you're receiving this email) at:
http://groups.google.com/group/pedpat
(or http://icanhaz.com/pedpatlist)

As it says on the list page:

EuroPLoP2008 hosted a workgroup on Pedagogical Patterns. This list has been set up to support continuous collaboration within the community identified at that workshop. It is open to all those who wish to engage in a discussion on the role of design patterns in education, teaching and learning.

This list is a supplement to the group's wiki space: http://icanhaz.com/pedpat

Please use the list for short informative communications. If you wish to share a document, or open up a fundamental discussion, do it on the wiki.

Please reply to me directly to confirm that you've received this mail.

I've put in some initial structure, but hey - its a wiki, and its yours (you do need to register, and let me know so I give you edit rights)

I thought we could use that space for:
- sharing bibliography, slides, and notes
- organizing events, specifically workshops at conferences
- refining our papers for the proceedings and beyond

any ideas / comments?

2008/7/14 Christian Kohls <c.k...@iwm-kmrc.de>:
Dear colleagues from the Pedagogy Workshop,

I hope you all came home safely, inspired with new ideas from the fruitful
discussions we experienced in Irsee. Thanks to all of you for coming to
the workshop. Special thanks to Simos who proposed the track. Maybe we
have written history and the track will become a constant element of
EuroPLoP.

Also, I hope that we will cooperate in one project or another in the
future. Yishay offered to set up a group space to collect ideas, announce
events etc. on educational patterns. Maybe that would be a good way to
keep in touch.

Till and I will run a workshop on e-learning patterns in September at a
German e-learning conference to promote the idea. For the next year,
e-teaching.org is currently planning to organize a workshop on patterns at
the Knowledge Media Research Center in Tuebingen. This could be an
interesting forum to exchange ideas which field description are
appropriate for pedagogical patterns, which different contexts and what
general forces exist. Detailed information on that will follow in the next
weeks.

All the best,

Chris
