Hi everyone,
Apologies for this very late notice. The call for nominations for the IUSS Division and Commission Officers for the 2026-2030 term is out, and the deadline is coming up extremely fast.
For our Pedometrics Commission (C1.5), both the Chair and Vice-Chair positions are open for the next term. A huge thank you to our current Chair, Alexandre Wadoux, and Vice-Chair, Simone Priori, for all their hard work over the last few years!
This is a fantastic chance to help guide our commission, but we need to move quickly.
The deadline to get nominations to the Divisional Committee is Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
If you have ever considered taking on a leadership role, or if you know a colleague who would be perfect for the job, now is the time to act.
Here’s a quick rundown of the process:
Nominations need to be made by an IUSS Full Member (like your national society) or a current IUSS officer.
You must use the attached "Official Nomination Form". It requires a short biography (max 200 words) and a declaration from the nominee.
I’ve attached all the necessary documents for you to look over:
The Nomination Form
The list of open positions
The official Election Guidelines
Please take a look at the attached files, especially the nomination form and guidelines, for the full picture. Your participation is what keeps our commission active and successful.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
