Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that abstract submission is now open for Pedometrics 2026, the international conference dedicated to advancing quantitative soil science, pedometrics, and soil data science. The conference will be held in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, from 15–18 September 2026. Set against the stunning backdrop of Bali, Indonesia, this year’s theme—Intelligence, Integration, and Innovation in Soil Science—reflects our commitment to exploring the future of pedometrics in a rapidly evolving world.
We warmly invite researchers, academics, practitioners, and early-career scientists to submit their research abstracts and contribute to discussions shaping the future of soil science.
Conference topics include (but are not limited to):
● Digital Soil Mapping from Field to Global Scale
● Mapping Soil Functions and Ecosystem Services
● Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Soil Science
● Soil Sensing, Proximal Observations, and Inference Systems
● Process-Data Modelling
● Pedology Meets Pedometrics
● Uncertainty, Risk, and Decision-Relevant Soil Information
● Open Data, Reproducibility, and Equity in Pedometrics
Pedometrics 2026 aims to provide a collaborative platform for sharing methodological advances, empirical findings, and interdisciplinary perspectives related to soil systems and environmental sustainability.
