Dear Pedal Heads,

There's still time to register for the BST Ride for this Sunday. It just takes a $45.00 donation to register. E-mail me and I will get you on the team roster. The money goes to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am going to have to do the 35 mile route because I am needed at work by noon. (Poor planning on my part.) 

 

August 16th is the Barrington Honor Ride. Registration is a little more expensive but the money goes to helping wounded veterans find hope and healing through cycling. This is a wonderful ride through the rolling hills of Barrington. Pedal Heads are registered as a team. 

Beginning August 18th, I am teaching a new class called Athletic Functional Training (AFT). This is going to be a complete work out geared to the aging athlete. If you are suffering from a loss of strength, balance or flexibility, this will get you back on track. Any level of fitness can do the class. 

I sure missed riding with you all this season. I have a few more races on my calendar but am very happy to be able to get out and do a few of these rides. I hope to see you there! Don't forget to wear your Pedal Head jersey so we can find each other!
