Hello DGBC friends,

I have some sad news to share about a cycling friend who many of you may know/remember.

Scottie Graser - an MS Ride Pedalhead for at least a few years, has tragically been killed by a semi truck while on a training ride in Oregon.

His long-time girlfriend, Mieke, as we knew her (Peggy is her first name) just messaged me with the news through Facebook and asked me to share with anyone back here who knew him.

She and Scottie just got married in October after so many years together! She said her heart is shattered, and mine is shattering for her.

Scottie's Facebook page is filling with messages of love and memories, so if you feel so inclined, please visit his page, and/or Peggy Mieke Grand's page to leave your thoughts, words of comfort.

Prayers for all cyclists and we take to the roads...
