I have sort of been shopping for a new MTB and someone on MTBR posted a link to a great tool.  It will analyze your bike fit, but the part I find most useful is the “compare geometries” function.  You can select a bike brand, model, and size and it will retrieve the geo data which is the same as you can get from the mfg web pages.  But it also will create a diagram to visually show the bike geometry and how the contact points end up, like vertical difference between the bars and saddle.  This configuration can be edited to include stem size and angle, stem spacers, handlebar rise and sweep, etc. that then show up in the diagram.  You can also select multiple bikes and overlay the diagrams to see the differences.

The database seems pretty good but if you find that it doesn’t have the bike you are interested in there is a form to request it.  Just fill that out and include the url to the mfg geo page and they claim that they will add it.  Not sure how quickly that will happen, however.
