I-66 bikeway improvements nearly completed

Looks like eastbound Post Forest Drive between West Ox and Legato / Random Hills and eastbound Random Hills' asphalt trail/sidewalk are nearly completed! Should provide smoother, continuous east-west travel for this section of I-66 bikeway that strays from its usual position along the north side /westbound lanes of I-66. It seemed like much of the vegetation has been cleared away as well so it will likely be less debris-intensive than eastbound Post Forest's bike lane was. It also seemed like I-66 bikeway between Stringfellow & Post Forest / West Ox was remarkably clear of debris, probably a recent volunteer event? If you haven't tried 670, 671, 672 Fairfax Connector buses between Monument Drive transit center and Vienna, Dunn Loring, Franconia-Springfield stations, you are missing out on speedy transportation that usually has two empty bike racks on each bus.
