Federal prosecutors moved on Friday to drop charges against David Hearn, a former Olympic canoeist accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, acknowledging that a contractor hired by the Trump administration had “botched” its renovation.

This is great news!  It also made me think that while this case is resolving, other people are still hurting and need our support.

Specifically, vigils are being held today and tomorrow for two people also targeted by this Administration.  Julian Bailey  was killed by Federal agents in his DC neighborhood https://freedcproject.org/event-list/oneyearofoccupation-aug1, and  Nolberto Meza was an innocent bystander killed during an illegal high speed police chase on Connecticut Ave, instigated by the US Park Police.  He was a delivery driver, but could have so easily been a cyclist. https://freedcproject.org/event-list/oneyearofoccupation-aug2.

Yeah, the corrupt administration came up with the “new information” dodge because their lies were just too outrageous to maintain and they would have had the case tossed out the first day if there had been a trial.  Great news for Dave and for a little bit of justice.  I guess these days we need to take what we can get.  Sad.

The orange turd disagrees with the DOJ dropping charges against Davey. See below. Unfreaking believable. I can't believe 78 million of my fellow citizens voted for this buffoon. Our country is in a bad way.
