How do I download from ridewithgps to Garmin Edge 810

Can anyone help with step-by-step instructions to download a route from ridewithgps to Garmin Edge 810?  I had no problem with my older 705 and Garmin Write, but now with IE 11 cannot figure it out.  The ridewithgps.com help desk has given me various instructions, but must not know how computer illiterate I am.  None of the various and differing instructions seem to work either with firefox or google chrome.

I am a premium member of ridewithgps.

The basic gist:

1. You download the TCX Course (.tcx) from the "Export" tab on the RideWithGPS ride you wish to place on your Garmin. It lands in a "Downloads" folder, in all likelihood, on your PC or Mac.

2. You then copy the file to the "New Files" directory on your Garmin Edge 810.

3. When you power on your Edge 810, you load the course in the "Training" menu of the unit.
