Dear All,

I am required to use SA965 F321 material for End Channel of Heat
Exchanger. Heat Exchanger is of TEMA R- NEN type. In short no gasketed
joint.

While selecting material I have two occurances as per ASME Sec IID.

Let me know which occurance I should use for designing.

what is your design temp?
assuming you are reffering to Table 1A, refer to the notes given at the end of the table
one for design temp >537 and the other is for >565 °C, as i understand , correct me if i am wrong

please go through the material notes carefully.............these notes
will actually help u while selecting the material for your
service.........for example some material have time dependent
properties etc.
