Keeping in mind the continued market volatility, as a matter of prudence, this year we would like to explore a combination of in-campus and just-in-time hiring.

 

Please note that as per the Cognizant campus hiring process; your students would have to fulfill the eligibility criteria listed below.

 

Eligibility Criteria

4  2014 batch of BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MCA degree students only

4  Consistent academic record of a minimum of 60% in X, XII, UG and PG (if applicable) considering all subjects. 5% relaxation in any ONE of the educational qualifications preceding the pursuing degree (and not in the pursuing degree)

4  Up to 2 standing arrears allowed at the time of the recruitment process

4  At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate (all subjects taken into consideration) in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears

4  Strong written and oral communication skills

4  Open only to Indian nationals

 

Selection process

As part of the selection process, we will conduct an aptitude test followed by a personal interview. To recognize students’ excellence in academics, we are happy to announce “topper shopper” and Cognizant Certified Students Program (CCSP) program that will give direct access to the interview process.

4  Topper Shopper: Top 15% in each branch, with consistent 75% and above academic record in X, XII, UG and PG (if applicable). This is applicable to all UG Engineering Courses and MCA only

4  CCSP certified students : Students who have cleared CCSP exam conducted by Cognizant and meet the eligibility criteria of Cognizant

4  Please note, if  a student matches both criteria, no replacement student can be added to the direct interview process

 

Student Information

Please find attached the candidate information template. We will use this data to generate the Cognizant applicant ID. This Id will be unique for each student and will be used to track them until they join Cognizant. Kindly provide the students’ information in the attached format by Aug 31, 2013 to initiate the recruitment process. We will share the Cognizant Applicant ID with you ahead of our visit to your campus.

 

Students must carry the following for the recruitment process – 2 recent Photographs (both ears visible in light background), Resume (maximum of 2 pages), Cognizant Applicant ID and all their academic records. Please ensure that only those students who meet our criteria sit in for Cognizant placement process.
