Hi ranza,
shortly:
you have to transfer the plugin zip file to your phone. Then go to
Options/Tools/Plugins in Ped and select Install from the menu. Point
the file browser to the plugin file and select it. Follow on-screen
instructions to finish the installation. Restart Ped. Done.
In case of comments plugin, you can go to Options/Tools/Settings and
then to the Plugins tab to set the key shortcut used to comment/
uncomment a line.
Note however that this way of comments plugin configuration will
change in future releases. Latest svn builds of Ped feature a fully
configurable keyboard shortcuts and the upcomming comments plugin will
take advantage of that feature.
Speaking of transfering plugins to the phone. There might be a small
problem if you want to transfer the file over Bluetooth so that the
phone receives it as a message. I'm working now on an easy way to
select such files (there will be a virtual "Messages" directory in the
file browser which will list all files received in such way). However,
it will most probably be for 2nd edition phones only since I don't
know how to do it on 3rd edition (message files are probably hidden by
the platsec). This is not an issue at least on a N73 because it allows
to easily browse the memory card over Bluetooth, without any
additional software, so you can just drop the plugin there. The 6600
for example requires the PC Suite to do it.
Cheers,
yak
