Hello there, I found this blog 5 days ago when I was desperatly trying to find non-surgical treatment for PE, and there wasn't. You can actually find a lot of exercises that build your chest muscles which make your PE less visibly but its still there. I feel very lucky that ive found this blog, and im about to start my PE recovery. Im 17 years old and I have PE since 12 or 13, since than, it bothers me a lot! But not as much as now when Im supossted to take off my shirt during the summer instead of being anti social. When I list my problems, PE is always at first place, I just dont feel comfortable with it. Every video on youtube i watched said you cannot treat PE without nuss procedure.

My PE is different than those i've seen on the internet, my sternum is sunken all the way from collarbone to its end, it is also asymetrical, right side is not that sunked as much as left side. And there is one more thing that concerns me, my belly is popped out, my height is 175cm and my weight is 55kg, so im like light year away from being fat, but yet my belly is noticable and I think that is related to PE. So im asking blog creator Björn Åkerstörm, is my PE ordinary and can I treat it with your methods?

I'm not Björn, but I just want to say that you have nothing to be ashamed of. Think of your PE not as a deformity but as a challenge. One of the greatest battles of your life. Something you will without a doubt overcome. Don't shy away from social activities because of it. If someone asks, tell them what it is and that you are fighting it with all you've got. Who knows, next year maybe it won't be there any more.

The reason why you have what's commonly referred to as a "pot belly" is because of your diaphragm, which has been pushed down and out due to several factors. You can most definitively fix this. Start correcting your posture and you'll start seeing positive effects in about a week.

Ms: Theoretically and probably even practically it shouldn't matter where the sternum is sunken in simply because the diaphragm has an enormous power together with the ribs. By correcting the posture you will redirect the force from the diaphragm so that it will lift the sternum no matter where it is sunken in. Being up on the feet in movement with shoes that corrects the posture you will probably feel and see a difference in no time.
