It may look like that because of the forward leaning posture I have in the x-ray photos. I can also say that it is very easy for me to "get the flared ribs back". I must follow my ergonomic "program". If not it gets quite rapidly worse.

First of all thanks for the answer. Let me shortly explain you what I am doing.

My PE depth is approximately 2cm. (this is assymetric) Also, I have flaredribs. And of course the left side is a little bit bigger than the right one. I am doing this activities about one month after reading your blog.

1) I went and bought zero drop shoe.
2) I am not using pillow while sleeping or resting.
3) I practice proper posture throught the day. Chest up, shoulders back and down.

4) Incline push ups. 5 sets of 10 reputation for now. I am trying to increase the reputation count of course. (5 times a week)
5) Ab rollouts 4 sets of 10 reputation for now. (5 times a week)
6) And I am aoing shoulder-dislocation exercise also. 4 sets of 10 everyday.

I am 25 years old. And I am a software developer. So, my job requires too much sitting position :)

I want to thanks you again, for making us to think positive about the fix of this defective posture.  I will be very glad to hear your recommendation to me.

Also I have read that Stomach Vaccum is recommended for flared ribs. Ax eplained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDx1xfSobG4

Do you recommend it to me?

What would you recommend me? I really want to fix flared ribs firstly.Because, my PE depth is not so much. When I am holding my breath in front of the mirror,e veryhting looks as normal posture.

Hi, nice to read that you seems motivated. I think that the exercises you linked to may help and I personally think that the one when you lie down on the floor is the one I think will help most of them. I have made a post on my blog which I call "Sitting posture That Lifts out the Sternum 2.0". I recommend that you try this out because sitting down for very long periods is very negative in general according to may experience. Also some people have "upvoted" this post and for me it works very well. What you do according to the list seems very good and should give results.
Anything else just ask.

Thanks very much, Bjorn.

I have just one question. I want to use posture brace and corset to make the process faster. And I want to chose my items from Amazon. But,there are too much different items.
What would you recommend me? I have read from one of the your comments:

"I bought it in a store for sports. I think that it will be quite easy to find one on the internet just search on google for “back support belt”. "

Hi, I have been away for quite a long time but here is my answer: yes I think this works. One thing, just be be very careful and don't move the shoulders too much backwards, that is a very important tip.
Good Luck.
