Evenif, couldn't be there a different way to solve this?Or maybe just incrasing the items per stack ( 500/750/1000 instead of 250 ), since the major issue is when you want to sell ( or set at a specific price ) materials.

Ah, it's about the "You're selling items too fast" timer. I believe ANet has commented in the past that it is not specifically in place to combat bot behavior or a way to slow down or prevent damage to the economy, but is a technical limitation due to the nature of the TP being shared worldwide and is more of a synchronization element. That may not be accurate or truthful, but that is similar to what I recall the last word on the matter being.

I've found that, when the delay is active, I have never experienced it to last longer than 5-6 seconds, not 10-15 seconds.I also rarely encounter the sell delay timer even after quickly selling about 70-80 different items. It's only when selling a bunch stacks of a single item in bulk (boom-boom-boom-boom) that I've noticed it being more likely to be triggered after about 10-12 stacks of rapid listing. When active, I've found that I only need to mentally count to 5 (sometimes 6 due to my inaccuracy counting each second) and then post the item and it lists. No need to wait much longer than that before trying again. After doing this and slowing my listing of different items for 5 or 6 items, I can resume normal pace of listing different items again. That's my consistent experience with the timer over the years anyway.

It's a bit annoying, but if this is what keeps the TP from crashing and your items from disappearing into a void, then so be it. The TP is a very fragile construct and I'm glad it's working as stable as it does currently.

I almost never encounter the delay. I must be too slow at clicking, even though I often sell a few thousand units of items at a time.(both statements are true: you might be seeing the issue frequently; I don't)

Should it get fixed? Sure. How urgent is it? The fact that you say that replication requires sale of 40 stacks suggests that it only affects those who trade in huge quantities of goods. I can't imagine that is a huge faction of the TP-using population. So maybe it's not the biggest TP-related issue right now.

The limit before this restriction kicks in is 16 or 18 stacks (or individual items), I usually encounter it, if I list more than 4k items of the same kind. About a year ago, the limit was 6 items in quick succession until they raised the limit.

I think plenty of regular players encounter this limitation, when selling their loot from a half full or full inventory directly to buy orders because thats very quick- If I sell regular loot, I usually list them, which takes at least one more click, usually I also adjust the listing price I want to sell for, so its even more clicks and I need a couple fo seconds more per transaction than someone who sells directly to buy orders.

its not the amount of items listed thats the issue, its the amount of individual listing/sale transactions. So you wont have a problem selling 1 stack of mithril but if you try to sell/list the 250 ores individually one by one, you will get an error message after 16-18 listings and you have to wait a couple of seconds before being able to list another one.

This issue with the TP becomes incredibly annoying when you're trying to green and blues from 250 stacks of Bags of Gear from Silverwastes. I remember this issue from years ago and it's disappointing to see it is still an issue.

I suppose this is why PoF drops Pieces of Unidentified Gear which can be sold in stacks. It's good ArenaNet found a band-aid for this issue since they can't seem to fix it, but why have they only implemented it in PoF drops? Bags of Gear in Silverwastes should be replaced with Pieces of Gear (Or just make the kittening Bags of Gear sellable like the Pieces of Unidentified Gear)

The odd thing is I don't see this issue as often when selling green gear while going through all the champion bags from Silverwastes farming. Probably because it seems that the TP algorithm makes offers for that green gear less often, so you simply don't sell on the TP as much and don't slam against the limitation.

I was surprised to see a pair of DBLs for sale on the well known auction site the other day too. Only heard them once or twice and remember being impressed, though a lot of kit required upstream to make them shine.

I think this is true of all of the original Naim designs. I have stuck with SBLs not having the room size for anything larger. I have heard a few modern designs but I am unconvinced that things really have moved forwards in terms of the strengths that I look for. Those Ibbles really are special.

Nostalgic for those of us in the data networking game, back when Cisco first launched the 12000 series core router, it was codenamed the BFR, at a briefing in San Jose they regularly referred to it as the Big [long pause] Fast Router.

The original pair, serial # 001 and 002 managed to make their to Naim Audio North America (aka NANA) after doing the rounds in shows and dealers demo-rooms, where they stayed for a couple years. At some point they made me an offer to purchase that pair for a very, VERY reasonable price-which I jumped on of course.

The bad news was that there was a bad flood at their office and the DBLs were water damaged and really could not be sold. The good news was that they would sell me a brand new pair in whatever finish I wished, for the original price we had agreed on, as long as I would be willing to pick them up from the airport that they shipped to, as they were already incurring a loss, and shipping/insurance would be steep. Which I was more than happy to do, although they did entirely fill up a small U-Haul trailer.

By current standards the tweeter and midrange driver could be improved upon, especially the midrange-that had a very idiosyncratic implementation whereby the driver had a native huge resonance in its operating band that was compensated by a huge suckout in the same band by the compliant floating slotted plate it was mounted into. A brave attempt to turn two wrongs into a right, but ultimately the underbelly of its performance-it never could offer those totally credible vocal presentations that my previous speakers (the Sonus Faber Extremas) did with effortless aplomb.

Floor interfacing is also very important, as that can make or break the final performance. If you have them spikes-through-carpet on a sprung floor they will sound bad (but sitting in carriage bolts screwed in the floorboards will rescue them). Mana soundbases will greatly improve the sound on sprung floors too. As will Chips between their spikes and hardwood floors.

Flameheart has summoned his formidable Ashen Lords to Sea of Thieves! These new land-based threats bring a whole new challenge for any brave pirate to conquer. They also bring with them a devastating new reward, the Ashen Winds Skull!

The interesting thing about this reward is that it can also be used as a weapon! This dual purposed item gives players a choice once acquiring it. Sell it for gold to the Order of Souls or use it as an in-session progression weapon.

The Ashen Winds Skull can only be found during the Ashen Lord World Event. Upon defeating the Ashen Lord it will drop the skull similar to how Skeleton Captains will drop bounty skulls when you kill them.

The less charge the Ashen Winds Skull has in it the less it is worth. If you would like to sell it for maximum value and unlock the related commendation, Skull of Fire, be sure to grab the skull right away after defeating an Ashen Lord and sail right for an Outpost.

Before you launch your first fishing expedition its worth noting that fishing in Sea of Thieves makes you and your ship extremely vulnerable when fishing alone. Catching and cooking fish take a few minutes each, and during this time you won't be able to steer, repair and fight if the need arises.

The threat of other players, Megaldons and even the Kraken is constant, but some of the rarer fish require you to go into dangerous areas to catch them. It is highly recommended that you try and fish with a friend or two.

You can find and equip your fishing pole in at 6 o'clock in second inventory wheel. Simply open the inventory wheel by holding Q (or left bumper on controller), then pressing F (X on controller) to swap to the second wheel.

Once you've got your rod, you'll probably want some bait for your hook. There are three types of bait in Sea of Thieves, earthworms, grubs, and leeches, and each one can attract a different type of fish.

Bait can be found in barrels across the Sea of Thieves, and can also be dug up with a shovel as well. Earthworms can be found from digging up dirt (or earth), grubs are found underneath sand, and leeches can be under shallow water, like the coast.

To equip the bait, open the inventory wheel and you should see a new prompt to hold R (or B on controller) to attach bait, then simply select the bait you'd like to use. Be careful not to eat the bait, it doesn't taste very nice, and is much more suited to the fish than the pirates.

Once your line is ready, its time to get into position. You can cast out into any body of water, and it doesn't matter if you're on solid ground, or a moving ship (although your crew might not be pleased if you're fishing in the middle of battle).

Your line will break if it touches any solid object though, so make sure no rocks or rigging are nearby before casting off. Once you're happy, cast the line out with the left click, or right trigger on controller. After that all you have to do is wait for a fish to bite.

If you're using a controller it will vibrate if the line is about to snap, giving you a chance to correct your mistake. If you're on keyboard and mouse, look out for the tell-tale shaky screen to see if you're pulling the line the wrong way.
