Need an experienced crew member?

Hi all, hope you're enjoying the summer so far.  

Since I don't see getting Orion ready to go round the buoys any time in the foreseeable future, I thought I would reach out to my fellow Pearson owners to see if anyone in the north shore Boston area needs a hand for night or weekend racing. I have much experience having raced since I was a kid and miss the excitement and comradery of sailboat racing.  Any questions please let me know.

Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly has a fairly active racing program on Thursday nights and select weekends. You can find more information on this link:

Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead runs a Wednesday night racing program and it and other Marblehead clubs run select weekend races including PHRF and some one design fleets.

If you scroll down the JYC racing page, you'll find links to a JYC Crew Bank and a Marblehead Crew Bank. I don't know how active the crew banks are, but it's something.

Jim, I can place you in touch with a captain racing out of Jubilee. Looking for crew, standby and regular. Let me know if interested.  He just had the rod redone on his boat and I think he stepped up a class or something like that.
