Anyone have the anchor locker measurements for a 31-2? I have the approx ht from locker bottom to lid lip and deck for the front and back. I do not have any of the specific measurements and it is not in the boat manual(at least that I could find). Great if anyone has thos measurements, I will keep searching.......

I know that it's exactly 10" from bottom to top height up front under the deck area, and believe it narrows somewhat as you come back to the opening as the bottom is sloped so that the water empties out of the locker drain hole.

Do you by chance know the length + diameter of oem stanchions? I THINK, 24" X 1". Per your suggestion, I am sourcing the stanchion brackets to add to where the new gate will be. I found 3 sources, West Marine being 3x the cost of the others found. If you don't remember the sizes I will throw it out there to the general population. It sucks not being near my boat for stuff like this.
Thnx

Sorry, I really have no idea as I always just brought them home.  I know they do taper to the top somewhat.  1” sounds about right, as does the 24”, but I can’t be sure.  Maybe someone on the site is still on the boat and can measure at the point the bracket is set?

Good Luck 😊

Thanks Pauleen. Rudy from D&R Marine called me this a.m. His website is screwed up which is why the product was not showing up as a Pearson item but instead an O'Day. He will be getting an improved site very shortly. He confirmed....24" h, 1" width. I hope yours is the same.
*** since you will be at your boat, if it's  a 31, can/ will you measure the anchor locker, please. My boat is now 5 hrs away, sleeping. I am investigating putting in a windlass and prefer to NOT intrude into the boat but only the locker.
Dimensions needed :
1. Aft width-locker opening
2. Frwrd width-""""""""""""
3.Center lenth-"""""""""""""
4. Locker cover  lip depth

Measurements below the decktop:
1. Front of locker to the pumpout(I have approx 1' 1"?), from the pump out to starboard, pumpout back
2. Inside bottom of locker length, width front and aft
3. Forward deck length to the front of the locker....how much deck is cantilevered over from the hatch front to the actual locker front and the same for how much the aft part of the deck is cantilevered over the locker bottom
4. Depth at the front from the deck to the locker bottom, the same for the middle, same for the aft.

I am trying to gather all of these schematics so I can choose which windlass will fit and it I can mount a shelf yet access the pumpout and the navigation lights wiring which is located in each corner of the aft part of the locker. I don't want to solve 1 problem, installing a windlass, and create another problem, not accessing my pumpout and not accessing my electrical.

Iffffff you are able to gather this info, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. If not, we tried.

Hi Vikki

I have all the measurements you want, however I'm going out to a birthday party this evening and will do the sketches with the measurements tomorrow.

It was an incredibly beautiful day, it took rather a long time to get the measurements because we had to unload the anchor locker.  We didn't get to sail.  In short, you owe us a visit and a bottle of wine! :-)

Where are you located?

Michigan, and thank u soooo much. I will say tho....sailing vs measuring= sailing,NOT measuring. Hey, that anchor locker is small, u can't possibly have that much stuff in it.
We are trying to put a wi glass in thos thing after repeatedly being told IMPOSSIBLE. Last Resort, from Canada, did it, I know it can be done. We are just trying to think outside of the box and not reinvent our deck to do this.
Kinda surprised me that this info is not anywhere. I do have a blueprint at my boat, I wonder if it is on the blueprint(boat is away for the winter, 5 hrs away)
Hugs and kisses to u and husband for this. Vikki

VERY THOROUGH, THANK YOU! Surprisingly, the measurements I did have on my file as I "pondered" this project match your actual measurements. I am making a mock up out of Styrofoam and boxes so I can actually simulate the body position of milking the chain-rode as it comes into the locker. I am doing my best to not penetrate into the vberth, only the locker.
Should you want to be a hero, you may want to attach these measurements on the Pearson 31-2 FB and Pearson FB site. There have been inquiries, besides mine, but as far as I know Last Resort,Glen, has been the most successful.
I will keep you posted....we have a long winter to think about this.
