I have a collection of interior doors from Puffin my Pearson 10M.
I will give them away for the cost of shipping, otherwise they are going to the dumpster.
There is no hardware on the doors.

Curious what you replaced them with?

Hi Folks,

Down here in the Caribbean bareboating with far too many people to fit on my P36.  Having trouble with the Lewmar Windlass on board which has decided to slip/spin instead of moving the chain.  Up/down makes no difference.  Chain is on a bridle so no pressure on the windlass. Tightened the clutch on top (free fall is not engaged).  Any advice?

Thanks!
Peter

Try jogging the windlass while trying to rotate the windlass by hand.  If it grabs and spins or stalls, you have gear problems.
Pull on the chain while jogging the chain out.  Etc

Dave

Thanks Dave, it was the motor, they sent a chase boat after us with a new one and we were back in business by about 9:15 am
the next morning.

Guy,

Do you have any sort of seal on that door to the forepeak?

Dan;
I don't have a seal. It's basically the same design as the original with the locking push button replacing the elbow catch.
It would be relatively easy to add a seal.
Is there more to your question?

No, not really.  I glassed in a floor to my forepeak and a drain that's above the waterline (though not quite enough as it turns out...) and I stow my dock lines by shoving the tails down through the vent hole into the forepeak.  Things in there do get wet (from the floor/drain being a bit too low and from water washing over and down the vent hole) and I think that moisture is best kept out of the cabin to reduce the potential for mold.  So I intend to add a seal to that door.  The rest of the openings between forepeak and cabin are sealed off.

Thanks, Dan
