Been trying to trace the bonding system, as I noticed a couple of
through-hulls are not connected. The existing bonding seems to come
together on one propeller strut bolt; this has two wires/cables, one
linked to the bonding circuit, the other disconnected.
The boat ground is connected to the an engine bolt right next to the
disconnected cable and the bonding circuit...so my question is, should
the bonding system be grounded to the common ground, connecting to the
engine and thereby to the sacrificial anodes?
I am worrying because as I was changing the zincs, the propeller strut
was looking a bit pitted; could have been my imagination (the
visibility was about 4 inches!!), but.....
