Good Day,
I have never had a footswitch for my G2r. I found Switch Doctors new website and pedal for the G2r, but with the stuff I have and a Radio Shack nearby, I was wondering if there's a schematic & info on maybe building a pedal. Or does anyone have recommendations for switching with some other maker's pedal from a store or online?
Thx in advance from the home of the Pearce and a guy who plucked Billy's strings at a gig :D

I've used several third party pedals for the G2 to switch/blend channels.  A Mesa one, one from Ampeg, a generic one I had sitting around.  I don't recall there being anything unique about them--if it's got LED's and a stereo jack, they seem to work.

That's what I thought! Thanks. Pretty much A/B/A+B. I didn't know if it had any effect on send/return operation or summing or something quirky. And I'd prefer something that's sturdy and dependable (or at least replaceable :)

No, it's not like the wacky Fender Super Champ pedal that passes signal, it just shorts to ground and carries power for the LED's.  The various send/return jacks are more problematic even when not in use if oxidation has built up.
