I had some custom cabs made for a G1 (1.7 mod) and a G2r. Came out
pretty spiffy so I thought I share some photos.

They look great.  I've often thought about doing this w/ my 1.7, as even with a Neo speaker in there, it's still pretty heavy (oak cab).  Do you mind sharing the price?

About $900 for the pair loaded with 4ohm Jensen jet tornadoes.

Interesting.  In my oak cab I've also opted for a 4-ohm Jensen Tornado.  Nice speaker, isn't it?

Perhaps it's not an EVM-12L, but it's also about 50lbs less :-)
