Should we use any concepts from this for Pearfarm?

Maybe say that you can do whatever you want (ie for marketing
purposes) with the "release version" but the API version should follow
Semantic Versioning?

Also should we have a function for pearfarm.spec that grabs the
version automatically from a git/svn tag?
