Dear all,

We hope you’ll join us tonight for an intimate screening of the Oscar-
nominated documentary short, “Warriors of Qiugang.” The film follows
villagers in central China as they take on three chemical factories
that were poisoning their land and water. For five years, they fought
to transform their environment and win a safer and healthier future
for themselves and their children.

After the screening there will be a Q&A with Pacific Environment staff
to discuss our work on pollution in China, including the work of our
partner, Green Anhui, who is featured in the film, followed by a
reception.
Running time is 39 minutes. We will begin the screening promptly at
6:00pm, so arrive early to avoid missing any of the film.
Seating is limited. There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door;
no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Time: TONIGHT, February 22 • 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: 9th St. Theater at the 9th Street Independent Film Center
145 9th St at Mission
San Francisco, CA 94103
Directions: The theater is easily accessible by public
transportation. Take Bart or Muni to Civic Center. Walk south on
Market to 9th St. The theater is just east of Minna. Parking is
often difficult near the theater and we encourage use of public
transportation.
