Problems configuring Mascot to run in Peaks 4.5

Hi all,

Can any one help me to configure Mascot in Peaks 4.5? I've followed
instructions according to BiS website in the FAQ. However, even
inputing the right server, port, etc, when loading Mascot options in
inChorus it gives an error saying that "fail to access Mascot search
form".

The parameters I use are:

IP: 143.167.86.218
Port: 80
Virtual directory: mascot/cgi/search_form.pl?FORMVER=2&SEARCH=MIS
Username: anonymous and no password (but also tried to put
administrator)

It works fine when putting the address

http://143.167.86.218/mascot/cgi/search_form.pl?FORMVER=2&SEARCH=MIS

directly in a browser. And no password is required when doing so. So
I wonder where is the mistake I make.

Hi,

Try having just "/mascot" in the virtual directory (without the
quotations).
