Hi, Rachel,

Thanks for doing this and CWRI for providing the $. The signs are way overdue and I am pleased with last evening's abuses at the park that the rules will be going up soon.

I spoke with Joe at Sign-A-Rama, 6855 Post Rd., North Kingstown a week or so ago... j...@signaramank.com 

He suggested vinyl lettering attached to 6mm PVC for durability.

He asked for a vector file made in illustrator.

Size of signage lettering relates to visibility length so I think we need to get the lettering, especially for the rules sign as large as possible without being too dense at the same time.

These take 1 - 2 weeks to produce so the time line is a bit tight for a Sept 15 installation.

He could ship to me at 103 Princeton Ave. Providence, RI  02907. I would need t receive them by Wednesday Sept 12 (I just had two promised date deliveries that did not get to me until after the promise date so I want to give a few days as a buffer)

I think if both you and I could preview the signs before they are produced that would be best.

We also need to ask him for the best way to mount and types of bolt assemblies needed to prevent tampering or people taking the signs off completely.

There are 6 panels in all.

The 3 facing Updike Street:

#1) top left Rules sign (please add dogs) 14 x 17 (vertical presentation)

#2) top right History sign  14 x 17  (vertical presentation)

#3) middle right  Branding sign  (in attachment, this is the one that I use s cards to hand out to people/kids at the park... "...clean, friendly, safe" in both English and Spanish) not sure of best size but this panel is 17 x 17   

The 3 facing west: area:

#4) top left (this was planned to be used as a posting space but I am the only one I know who has posted here, so... we could make a sign that says "Post Neighborhood Announcements Here"    14 x 17 maximum  not sure of the best size  (horizontal presentation)

#5) top right (this was planned to be used as a posting space but I am the only one I know who has posted here, so... we could make a sign that says "Post Neighborhood Announcements Here" Rethinking this today, it may make sense for us to post another Rules sign in this section and just have one posting square. That way if people come in the Peace Street gate the rules sign would be visible to them as it would to the kids who are playing on the nearby equipment.  So.... another Rules sign (please add dogs) 14 x 17 (vertical presentation)

#6, bottom left nursery rhyme signs in English and Spanish (in attachment, these both need to fit in a 14 x 17 space somehow)
