Hey everyone!

We are having a Pizza and PoP party on Monday, November 1st from 7:30-8:30 to discuss advertising and promoting our Open Mic Night coming up on November 10th and to brainstorm for other upcoming social-justice related events! The Pizza party will be from 7:30-8:30 in the Lake Ontario room at the Union. Hope to see you there! Also, we wanted to remind you of our Open Mic event at (Scene) Metrospace on November 10th at 7:30. We're still looking for performers, so if you're interested in performing, please respond to this e-mail and write on the Facebook event wall what you'll be performing. Also, Project Downtown will be meeting this Friday at the Islamic Center on Harrison at 4:00. We'll be meeting to make sandwiches and snacks to pass out at a local homeless shelter in downtown Lansing. One last thing.. We've attached a document with the Top 10 Myths About Islam. Feel free to make copies of this and distribute to your friends to raise awareness. Please let us know if you'll be attending any or all of these events! We'd love to hear back from you!
