PoP Plans for this Semester!

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a relaxing break and are ready to get back to everything at MSU. PoP already has a lot planned for this semester as part of our effort to rejuvenate interest and involvement in the coalition, so here are a few things:

1. PoP will be hosting a workshop and will participate in the Resource Fair at this year's MLK Student Leadership Conference coming up Sat, Jan 16th! More information about the conference can be found here: http://www.inclusion.msu.edu/page/student_conference/

Be sure to register ASAP if you haven't already! Also, below is the blurb for PoP's workshop:

Are you a student leader who is interested in obtaining new resources and broadening your outreach by meeting leaders from other student groups who are also committed to social justice and learning from their experiences? A unique coalition of student groups called PoP was created at MSU a few years ago and we have recently re-defined and rejuvenated our coalition. Come join us to learn briefly about this history of this unique coalition and participate in an interactive discussion about what resources and opportunities you’d like our coalition to offer to you and your student group.  

2. Mark your planners for Wed, Jan. 20th because that is the date for this semester's PoP Kick-Off Event! We'll be having free food, themed smaller group dinner discussions, and more! Please be sure to inform any students you know of who are passionate about social justice and who care about making a difference on campus. More information will be coming soon. 

3. Please contact me if you're at all interested in helping plan for our MLK Conference activities or for the kick-off.
