Next Peace over Prejudice meeting!

[Peace over Prejudice MSU]

Hey!

Good news: PoP is having its second meeting this Wednesday, Sept. 29th
at 8:30 in the Heritage Cafe in the MSU Union! At this meeting, we
will be making posters featuring facts dispelling common myths about
different prejudices (such as homophobia, Islamophobia, racial slurs,
etc.); we plan on putting up these posters all over campus in order to
raise awareness of prejudice on campus.

Also, Project Downtown will occur again next Friday, October 1st. If
you are interested in participating in this community service event,
the group will first meet up at
Islamic Center on Harrison at 4pm to make sandwiches. From there,
we'll drive to the shelter (Volunteers of America) located at:
430 North Larch Street
Lansing, MI 48912
Those that have cars should bring them for carpooling.
