Martin Luther King Student Leadership Conference!

[Peace over Prejudice]

Hello all!

We hope that you have had a great break! 

A week from today, Saturday January 15th, there will be the 7th annual MLK Jr. Student Leadership Conference, held at the Kellogg Conference and Hotel Center, from 9-4PM, with registration beginning at 8:15AM (although you can register in advance online though the following link: https://msuinclusion.wufoo.com/forms/x7x0r3/).  The theme of the conference is 'Global Voices for Justice', with hip hop enthusiast and social activist Will Strickland speaking, followed by various workshops related to the theme of 'global voices for justice', led by different student groups, including Peace over Prejudice (with out workshop being on the power of nonviolence).  Attending this conference allows students to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and help keep his message of justice and nonviolence alive within the MSU community.  We hope to see you all at this free conference, and be sure to drop by Peace over Prejudice's table at the resource fair and attend our workshop!
