So much going on! Political maneuvering in Ohio and Wisconsin has led to Senate passage of bills stripping public sector employees of collective bargaining rights. Workers are under attack across the United States. At the federal level, proposed budget cuts would devastate working families. Legislators want to cut the budget on the backs of working people and the poor instead of taxing wealthy tax dodgers,instituting the bipartisan Sustainable Defense Task Force's recommendations for cutting $100 billion from the base Defense budget, or ending the wars. We spend $2 billion a week on an unwinnable war in Afghanistan. All sorts of people are being scapegoated including people in the Muslim community. Now more than ever. we need to come together, connect the dots between the different issues we are passionate about and stand up together. People power is making a difference. Let's all join together at a rally Tuesday, March 15th for Good Jobs and Strong Communities at Fountain Square!

Recent attacks on the middle class are threatening our way of life here in Ohio. From workers rights to women's rights to the safety of our children in the classroom, nothing is sacred to the lawmakers in Columbus who want to radically undermine the values that have made Ohio a great state for so many years, the values of GOOD JOBS and STRONG COMMUNITIES.
