last call for peace camp counselors

If you haven’t filled out a staff application and are interested in being a Counselor, Junior Counselor, Counselor in Training (CIT), or Junior CIT, please contact Valerie Hresko (571-882-9285, valerie...@uucapeacecamp.org) immediately. 

 

Counselor training dates are listed below:

Training: Saturday, June 2, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Training: Saturday, June 9, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Staff orientation: Saturday, June 23, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Peace Camp Set-up and Team Planning: Sunday, June 24, 11:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

 

In addition to contacting Valerie Hresko, counselors will also need to bring a completed staff application to the June 2 training.

 

Peace Camp Counselor Summary:

Jr. CIT 's:  11 years old

·         In their own group but help with specific tasks and special projects with the younger kids 

·         Need Camper Info Form and Staff Application filled out

·         Parents pay tuition

·         Volunteer or Peace camp pays jrCIT $65 a week

CIT's :     12 to 14 years old

·         Assigned to help a counselor 

·         Need Camper Info Form and Staff Application filled out

·         Parents pay tuition

·         Volunteer or Peace camp pays CIT $125 a week

Jr. Counselors:  15 to 17 years old

·         Need Staff Application filled out

·         Volunteer or Peace camp pays $250 a week

Counselors 18 and up

·         Need Staff Application filled out

·         Volunteer or Peace camp pays $375 a week

Team Leader

·         MJ determines Team Leaders from Counselor pool

·         Need Staff Application filled out

·         Volunteer or Peace camp pays $500 a week

 

We also have openings to for transportation and kitchen help.
