Following decades of lull in fruit imports from India, banana shipments have started hitting local market through Wahga land route in recent weeks….An official of Market Committee Lahore said that 8-10 trucks of bananas per week are being imported from India since the start of this month. He added that imports were expected to pick up momentum as supplies from Sindh plummeted due to negative impact of bad weather…

After a break of nearly nine years the commerce secretaries of Bangladesh and India are scheduled to meet on March 28 in New Delhi to discuss issues hindering boost to bilateral trade ties. "This is the first secretary-level meeting since 2003 and we expect to boost trade relations further through this meeting," director general of foreign ministry Mashfee Bintee Shams told the bdnews24.com on Tuesday…

Nepal and India will sign a Letter of Exchange for the final implementation of the Railway Service Agreement in May. “After two months, we will sign a Letter of Exchange so that we can execute the railway service agreement signed in 2004 and reviewed recently,” said joint secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Naindra Prasad Upadhyay…
