Dear Ones:
I am making slow but steady progress. At my last post-surgery
appointment on Oct 28, I could read a few lines of eye-chart, with the
help of a pinhole device. Also, I have less pain, and am sleeping
better. But my eyelids are still a little swollen, making opening of
the eye effortful. Even with the affected eye closed, reading and work
on my laptop for more than a few minutes is quite stressful.
For the last few days, I have started doing ACHA work, a little at a
time. In the next few days, after swelling decreases and the gas
bubble in the left eye completely dissolves, I should be able to
resume more of my ACHA responsibilities.
Meanwhile, allow me to wish you a Happy Guru Nanak Birthday (Nov 2),
on behalf of ACHA Directors, Councilors and members!
Best wishes,
Pritam
