Name of the course	Microstructural Evolution during Friction Stir Processing
Duration	16th - 21st September 2019

Course content:

• Introduction of friction stir processing,
• Discussion on microstructural evolution in various primary engineering alloys,
• Development of ultra-fine grains using FSP,
• Comparing FSP of alloys difficult to process (e.g. immiscible Cu alloys), and
  
• Review unique microstructural evolution in new high entropy alloys

Salient features of the course:

1. The event is likely to exhibit several characterization and processing equipment, and software.
2. A rare opportunity for the interaction of academic and industry members under a single roof.
3. The course also provides a platform for presenting one's original research. We will have a poster competition for the participants presenting their research with prize for best poster.
