Greetings, Rubyists new and old-

TL;DR: new location! This one has projectors--any requests for
presentation topics?

Keeping with our fine tradition of never having beginners' meetings in
the same place twice, I'd like to try holding the next one at... my
office!

First, the downsides of this location:
(1) The building's doors lock at 6pm, so people will have to push a
blue button, talk to a security guard, and then wait for one of us to
send you up the elevator.
(2) BYO dinner and beverages (we do have a fridge, sink and microwave).
(3) While we have space for at least 30 people, we can't seat more
than about 15 *in the same room*.

And now, the FABULOUS UPSIDES!
(1) There will be a remarkable lack of noise made by people who are not us.
(2) Facilities for shared displays! We actually have two projectors
and a big TV, so we could have up to three groups covering various
topics.
(3) Four or five spaces for subgroups of varying sizes! We have a
conference room that seats about 15, two smaller conference rooms good
for 4-5 people, a lounge area with seating for seven more, and a space
in front of the aforementioned TV where we have our standup meetings.
(4) A small budget for snacks and drinks, PLUS you can bring your own!
(5) Videoconferencing that might even work! We might be able to have
one or two people participate in a discussion via Skype or iChat. (If
you have other software suggestions, and would like to try this,
please let me know off-list so we can set it up beforehand.)

Since we'll have access to at least one projector, are there any
topics that people would like to see presentations about?

Are there people out there who'd like to give presentations, but have
been intimidated by some of the higher-level talks we've had at the
main meetings?

Discuss.
-Sam

As Igal so kindly reminded me, I forgot to say where my office
actually is (400 SW 6th Ave, #902).

Here's a Calagator link with time, address, and instructions for
gaining access to the building:
