Shutting Down Google Groups

Did you guys get the newsletter?  Did you see the news?  We are doing away with Google Groups as a means of communication for this group.  Here's the news.  

We are changing the way we communicate. We've had many issues over the years with athletes not being able to get all the right information. We're simplifying, and unfortunately that means that we are going to close down the Google Group. Our MAIN methods of communication will now be via Facebook, Our Website and Instagram.

Here's what's changing:
There is a Public Portland Triathlon Club Facebook Page that will host all public announcements.
There is a PRIVATE Portland Triathlon Club Group Facebook Page that is a subgroup of the main page. This page is for Members Only and will be regulated on a regular basis! Weekly workout locations will be posted here. Members can share their workout plans and invite others to join, sell stuff, etc. You will be receiving an invite if you are a Current Tri Club Member, look for it!
You can now sell your gear via the Facebook Group - Sell Stuff
Please start directing all your questions and chatter from the Google Group to Facebook!

Our website now has been extremely integrated with Facebook, if you are a non-Facebook user you can still see whats for sale, what's going on and more.

If you get Shawn's weekly workout notes via the Google Group, you will now be getting an email directly from Shawn. We have given him our current PTC Member list and he will send out the workouts to that email list serve. *Only active PTC members will get this!
