I've been lax in getting this out to the pdxscala list, but for those who don't already know, Igal, one of the core contributors to the local tech and open source community, is no longer with us. Igal was an occasional attendee of PDXScala, though it had been a couple years since I recall him last joining us. Anyway, there's a memorial for him this upcoming Sunday. Here's the announcement.

Igal’s memorial will be Sunday, April 21st from 4-7pm at First Unitarian Church, 1211 SW Main St, Portland, OR (map). Please RSVP at Eventbrite so we can plan accordingly. You can sign up as a volunteer when you RSVP, or by contacting caro...@tenx.org. For those of you familiar with the venue, we will not be using our usual entrance so please use the Sanctuary entrance at 1211 Main Street.
