Using MSSQL with Play

Has anyone got a good reference for using SQL Server with Play Framework projects?

I'm trying a quick and dirty test with the play2-crud-activator project, but it's failing on database evolutions. The error looks like this:

I know I can disable evolutions, but they're really convenient when the work.

downloaded, built, ran,

runs fine for me - created both a simple and complex object

what's up?
