Hi All,
I just had a chat with a recruiter about a position that isn't a fit for me, but I told him I'd help spread the word because he was a nice guy.
The company is a small bootstrapped team of 2 in Silicon Valley who build a niche website that is moving product, as they say. They're hiring 3 or 4 more engineers. They sell physical stuff and are building a warehousing, inventory, and fulfillment system.
They are on Rails 6, want people who are full-stack, and appear to very much like DHH's majestic monolith philosophy (so much so that the recruiter asked me about every Rails app I've ever worked on and whether or not there were microservices involved or it would be considered a monolith. SMH.)
If you're a little more than a few years in to building apps with Rails, want to work on the whole stack on a small team, and are looking for a new decent-paying gig, let me know and I'll connect you with them!
Dave
