Hello Friends,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Brian Artiaco, and I
work for WeoGeo, Inc.

We're looking for an additional developer for some upcoming projects
(FYI - we are actually open to many kinds of work relationships,
including full time benefited employment).

Our ideal candidate would be strong in the force with both Ruby and
Javascript. If you're experienced with OpenLayers, and application
frameworks like SproutCore or Cappuccino, that is a plus.

WeoGeo is originally from Tampa, Florida and I joined the company
after they relocated to Portland in 2008. We're located near the Ross
Island Bridge, inside the Portland State Business Accelerator(http://
www.psba.pdx.edu/). Since moving to Portland, we have been recognized
by Portland’s startup and tech community. Resulting in a second place
finish the annual Angel Oregon competition in 2009.

WeoGeo(http://www.weogeo.com) creates a one-stop web based marketplace
for mapping. It supplies surveyors, engineers, cartographers, and
scientists with the ability to conveniently store, search, and
exchange high-resolution CAD and GIS mapping products. Map authors
easily list their data for sale. Researchers quickly find the data
they need. We also have a growing ecosystem of developers building
products on top of our apis.

If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. You can email me at
bartiaco [at] weogeo.com. Please include your resume and any links
you may feel are relevant (github, blog, portfolio, etc.)

Thanks,

Brian Artiaco
Ruby on Rails Developer
WeoGeo, Inc.
