I am a Portland resident currently seeking junior Ruby development opportunities.

My interests lean toward server-side scripting and include Ruby, Sinatra and working with/building APIs. I have some experience working with D3 for data visualization, but my JavaScript chops currently start and end there. I am most comfortable working in Linux and OS X environments and enjoy learning more about Unix system administration and environment setup.

I enjoy working as a member of a team, pair programming and using Git for managing workflows. I am not afraid to ask questions.

I have a B.A. in International Letters and Visual Studies from Tufts University, and am passionate about technology, the arts and education.

While relatively new to the programming community, I am seeking an environment where I can contribute while continuing to learn. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see some code.

Thank you for your time,
- Amie Kuttruff

My company currently has openings for entry level web developers. The job uses server-side JavaScript, with a bit of front-end goodness thrown in for good measure. If this sounds interesting, please drop me an email and we can set up some time to chat.
