If punk rock/hardcore ever played a part in your life, you would have
been moved by the music tonight. Both bands were exceptional. It was
refreshing to me to see a fully functional , vibrant, angry and loud
youth contingent rocking to a band (the Circle Jerks) that I saw fully
21 years ago (it was in a church basement in Washington D.C. with
Corrosion of Conformity if you must know).
I am compelled at this late, deaf and drunken time to ask the group . .
. PDX Rocknight . . . what it is that they look for in live music. I
personally feel like live music is it . . . IT. Bands record music to
represent what they are about LIVE. I know that this isn't always the
case, but that's what I find is true of bands that I LOVE.
What do you guys want to see?
What would make you actually come out to see a band or two?
